- Tongue tie concerns
- Feeling unsure if things are going “okay”
You don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to come in!
Lactation support that looks at the full picture and options that fit your family.
At Balance Chiropractic & Wellness, your care is guided by both clinical experience and whole-body perspective.
Dr. Jennifer Thompson is a pediatric and prenatal chiropractor and and IBCLC, which means your visit goes beyond just feeding mechanics. Dr. Jen’s whole-body approach looks at:
- Latch and positioning
- Infant oral function
- Body tension and movement patterns
- Nervous system regulation
- Maternal comfort and recovery
Because feeding challenges are not just about feeding, we offer options that fit for your family when it comes to care. That includes:
Stand Alone Lactation Visits – Dr. Jen provides focused, one-on-one support for breastfeeding concerns. You do not have to be a current chiropractic patient to utilize stand alone lactation visits, nor will chiropractic care be required with these visits.
Combined Visits – Lactation support (1 hour) paired with pediatric chiropractic and craniosacral therapy (CST) as well as support for mom with postpartum chiropractic care. Gentle bodywork can help reduce tension that may be affecting latch comfort, feeding coordination, head turning preference, and body positioning. This can be especially helpful for babies who seem uncomfortable, tight, or frustrated during feeds.
We will help you decide what feels most supportive for your situation.
